Hi folks.

I was wondering if there is an actual advantage of installing Android as opposed to keeping Maemo. Is there a reason why I might want to risk losing my current OS, other than for the sake of the new OS itself (which is a valid reason, just not compelling enough for me)?

Is there any genuine advantage in terms of usage, like, say, being able to use Gears for gcal or some such?

Or did I just miss the point here, and it is indeed possible to have something like a dual boot, so I would not actually lose my current installation? (I really could not figure that one out by reading relevant threads here)

I guess what I am asking for here is a cost/benefit analysis of changing the OS (assuming installation goes well).

Any opinions?
