Hello everyone,
I just want to start off by saying that i am a newbie to maemo and the n810.
I started playing with the n810 and got app crazy and well i'm sure as you know i ran out of space. I looked into extending the usr home but found that was not a good idea but booting from an SD card it.
So i have a microSD in a miniSD adapter that is a 8GB Class 4 SDHC. put that sucker in and followed this link
https://wiki.maemo.org/Booting_from_a_flash_card
from there i followed the partitioning steps noted in that article here
https://wiki.maemo.org/Partitioning_a_flash_card
In following that article everything goes well except when i do mke2fs /dev/mmcblk1p2
it gets to Writing inode tablet: 7/57 and then it reboots the n810.
Any ideas? if i do this in gpart is does the same. If i format the whole 8gb sd it works with 1 ext2 partition.
Thanks in Advance
