I have confirmed the previously cited better google video performance in 0.3 over 0.3.1.

Process:

1. Install 0.3.0
2. Navigate to video.google.com. Select "videos playable on Google" option just below search bar.
3. Search for "maemo site:dailymotion.com"
4. once videos load, click on second thumnail on the left (which is associated with the video "OS2008 on N800 Part 2: Youtube"
5. Wait a few moments (maybe 10-15 seconds) for video to load on right.
6. when you see an arrow appear in video pane on right, double click the arrow (one click won't register).

Almost immediately, the dailymotion banner will descend from top of the small video pane on right, and then you will see what looks like a cartoon die expand and contract as the video loads, and then the video will play.

Now install tear 0.3.1

Once you get double click at step 6, the process will basically just stall. You are unlikely to see the dailymotion banner immediately descend from top of video pane, and you will not see the cartoon die expand and contract to show you that the video is loading.

Try this on a few more videos for your favorite search terms and you will see that 0.3 performs better than 0.3.1.

Obviously I know that this is an idiosyncratic concern---I happened to enjoy using tear to watch videos smoothly through the video.google.com interface. Maybe others did not, and maybe the problem does not infect other areas of performance.

(Note: I did not check to see if this was a user-agent issue, since I took Bundyo's word for it that it wouldn't be the culprit.)
