Nokia has surprised with Maemo most people in the past (I guess for good, otherwise you would be somewhere else) and I bet it will keep surprising people in the future (for good as well). We are working on many projects (software, devices, services... this is what this company does) and they will be clearly told when it's the right time for each one.

Definitely that time is not defined by some blogger somewhere (with all respect to tech bloggers).

Then don't panic. Or don't blame Nokia if you do.

Note also that if the same blogger would have come with some kind of hints towards a 4.1, no-voice, d-pad tablet there would be another heat discussion here, just in different terms.

Like I have no doubt there will be a heat discussion when a new device is launched. It was the same when the N810 and the N800 were launched (you have not forgotten that, haven't you) so why would be different now. Yet many of the loud and opinionated early posters evolved in their opinions, got evetually the real thing in their hands and nowadays can be found in the happy side. Yes, there are exceptions but you know what I mean.
