With websites, usually the Home Page very slow to load, but you can get around this by using the mobile version of the website. You can get to the mobile version by replacing the "www." domain prefix with "m." So for "www.engadget.com" I use "m.engadget" instead. This gives me an overview of all the Engadget.com rticle and when I click the article link, it takes my directly to the article bypasing the bulky Engadget Home Page.
