I keep wondering would gvm/TCPMP plays more video format than the native mediaplayer and mplayer? Anybody has experience? I DO see gvm/TCPMP plays more smooth video in a window screen, much more smooth, than the native player on some copies, no stuttering, no chopping. However, I cannot make it to play fullscreen. Apparantly the video driver for the gvm/TCPMP, even under a VM environment does a better job than the native player, from a user experience. Go figure.

so far, I have tried .avi and .mp4. (I know, I know, it is a box, it is not a real format that kind of discussion etc, I am too lazy to go to g-spot...ouch!), I will try some rmvb, wma etc and see how it goes, or if somebody already did it.
