Thanks TrueJournals, it seems that EveryDNS changed the host that retrieves updates so none of the secondary server had up to date data.

I am open to suggestions on appearance. I have based the current appearance on MS Outlook (unfortunately I have no real choice but to use that in my day job), and KOrganizer. One thing I do not want to do though is load this up with a lot of different options since that would go against the fast load time and low battery usage goals, so any change to things like the size of the minute markers would need to be based on popular opinion - that is, one winner rather than lots of choices.

Other features like import/export and synchronisation are to be done with separate executables. My view on this is that in a handheld, the program that you use to enter data into the calendar should do that data entry and display and nothing else. Let another executable do other tasks. There is a package out there that does nothing synchronisation between many calendar formats (I forget its name but have its details at home), and my plan at this stage is to make a plugin for that.
