So is there a way to overcome this with pop3 mail with any email app?

I can't believe that my Palm Centro does this with the default email client but the n810 can't do it.

I too am momentarily stuck with pop mail until I decide that this is all going to work and spring for a $30 mail upgrade with my service to go IMAP.

Any other suggestions or workarounds?
