I've been trying to set Navit to work on my N800 for the past couple weeks with no success.

Firstly, I have no GPS locator so setting the right area of the map was critical.

From the original navit.xml I have not changed anything except the center location and .bin file.

Here are the two areas I've changed and I have still yet to see the map. I've done everything as written yet see a tan screen with no map.

I haven't touched anything else. What am I doing wrong. Both Navit.XML files in usr/share/navit and /home/user/.navit have this same exact navit.xml file. The bin file is in the right place as well.

What am I doing wrong.
