Well since I started this thread, and I DID end up getting the warranty, I guess I'll be my only respondent

I used a coupon code, for what % off I don't recall, but I ended up getting 3 years coverage on my N810, WITH (optional) accidental damage coverage, for ~$33 usd.

Seems like a pretty good deal to me.

(we'll see how it goes if I need to use it <knocks on wood>)
