A few days ago fpp told me about Ångström in this thread. It seems what they're trying to do is build one single system that will run on several platforms (Zaurus, iPAQ h2200, Nokia 770, A780). The idea is great: Imagine the user base such a distribution could have - if it ever works.

There is a very recent file on one of their servers that seems to be a testing image of Ångström for the 770; they don't provide any kind of information, though, on how to use it, and I am not going to brick my 770 by flashing it with this "testing image" as long as I don't know what happens and if I cant safely revert to OS2006. I remember reading somewhere that they have problems with hardware that's not documented on the Nokia 770.
