easiest way I found is to make a notes file with following-taken from post many pages back.

ifconfig wlan0 down
macchanger --r wlan0
ifconfig wlan0 up
-------

you obviously need macchanger and you need to be root to run above script - also need internet access cause as stated wayfinder phones home to request free trial. Also only works with version .377 again as stated many times.

I open notes file - select all - then in xterm after sudo gainroot - paste it.

two down sides - any favorites (wayfinder gps locations that is) get lost and (at least) I cannot connect to my wifi network with new mac until reboot but will connect to bluetooth phone no problem.

this solution has worked for me so far and is simple to use.
