Thanks for all the great info again.

I uninstalled gPodder and re-installed it. Without changing anything I open it up and...it immediately minimizes to the left pane (where I can click it and it opens up full). Weird..

You can pretty much see what apps I got installed here:

Not sure if any of them can cause a conflict.
(And I've tried launching gPodder from the Extras folder, from Personal Menu AND from Personal Launcher
