Actually, 2007 now supports the OpenDocument format, so it should open up in Office 2007 directly. My OpenSpreadsheet opened up in Excel directly.

EDIT: Don't know if it's a separate plug in or not. I can't remember. If not and you can't open an OO.org Doc in 2007, there is an option to save as *.doc in OO.org when saving under "Save As" or on initial "Save".
