I have been curious if I was to leave say the voice recorder and PDF reader open (minimized) all the time if it would noticeably reduce battery life?

I am asking for two reasons:

1 the voice recorder to be able to quickly record a note for an audio notepad of sorts. If I have to wait for it to load, I may forget the content I need to record for later.

2 the PDF reader left open solves the problem of finding where I left off in a PDF ebook.

Thoughts on this?
