The article test methodology is really really really really bad.

"In the case of each device, I practised a little first and then timed myself entering the strings of text, correcting any typos as I went. In each case, I did the test twice and included the average result below.
This has even less value than "I think this input method is better than that input method."

Just two of the many issues:

The hardware keyboard methods will be much faster after a week of use. The OSK methods only a little faster.

Does the tester have a device that he uses day to day? Is it one of the devices in the table? Might this affect the results?
