I just don't understand this. I did try an N97 some time ago, and I was surprised at how excellent the feel of the keys was (especially after reading bad reviews about it).

Either there are different versions of the hardware floating around, or people's perception of what makes a tactile experience differs _dramatically_ (I don't know about anyone who disliked the keys on the device I tried though).
