How are you making all of your calls (and doing SMS/MMS messaging) without touching your phone?

When I said I only want to have ONE handheld, I meant ONE. For calls, for SMS/MMS and IM messaging, for web browsing, for RSS reading, for email, ssh to my servers, etc. All one device.

It's ok if the WWAN gateway is in my pocket or gadget bag, as long as I don't have to hold it in order to make voice calls, send/receive SMS, etc.

I tried it with the NIT and various remote control functions for the NIT->Nokia-Phones, but the integration there was sorely lacking ... and limited me to Nokia phones. Even if I did bluetooth headsets (I don't), that doesn't help with originating calls, as far as I know, nor with SMS/MMS messaging.

None of the things you guys are presenting provides me with what I want.
