You're not sounding like an a-hole. You're echoing exactly what I've said elsewhere :-)

I even said it on the forums yesterday: a Maemo Phone would get me to consider switching back to Maemo. _ESPECIALLY_ if it also had Canonical's Dalvik/Android run time (run Android apps on top of Gnu/Linux/X).

And in the most recent N900 thread, I said it multiple times there.

But, alas, the N900, and/or a Maemo Phone, do indeed, remain "fabled".
