I think it will depend on which web browser you use.

Personally, what I'd like to see is the browser (e.g. Tear) automatically remember zoom settings per website, without having to make any explicit settings. That way, whatever method you use to access the website (e.g. bookmark, following a link, typing in the URL) will automatically zoom to the same amount you used last time. Firefox 3 does this.
