I finally went for a walk with OSM2Go and... it works! Back home I could edit and upload the red paths you see in this little forest in Mäkkyla (Espoo), next to my place: http://osm.org/go/0xPMllfd

It's my first time editing successfully paths and nodes, connecting them, adding info, etc. On year and half ago I tried directly on OSM website and I couldn't figure out how to create the area of a town.

First impression: success! Sure, there are minor things and more enhancements than pure bugs. But it's definitely ready for extras-testing.
