Don't forget, this device is supposed to have both GTK and Qt libs in memory almost all the time, so even if you forego the memory load of the extra eyecandy, you will need more memory to keep things snappy. Swapping is an idiotic solution to this. Why bother putting in a 2x stronger CPU when half of the time it's going to wait for swap pages to come back into memory ? 256 is a must.
