Same thing here, I use a Sandisk 1GB RS MMC and so far I have had no complains. Initially when I messed around with it crazily, I had to format it once. I did this easily using WinXp. Other than this it has been working very well with the latest Nokia OS 2006. I use it as I please, trying ( downloading, writing onto the RS MMC and erasing ) out new SW options from Maemo, new themes, pictures, some audio files etc.
