I think that maybe the specs are not that groundbreaking, but they shine on their own. Not any single aspect is underspecced or lagging, IMO..

It is a long time since a Nokia device last went to market with current or next gen hardware. They have been catching up in this department since N95 (to my taste).

So It is a well specced device having a great OS under the hood, and there SEEMS to be what has been lacking in the past to make Maemo a viable alternative for mass market..: Nokia SEEMS to be supporting it big time.

Now It is only a question of thinking about "consumers" instead of "geeks", as G.A. said, bigger, wider market..
