I envision a new sort of music making app. Imagine one that combines the mike and accellerometer inputs to generate sounds, and then semi-randomized algorithms to mold that into music. The mike picks up ambient waveforms, the accellerometer captures your sweeping hand gestures (think: orchestra conductor) and intervals between peaks or pause points (all easily configurable) for the notation. Or you could ignore the mike and select from a waveform library. The touchscreen could even come into play. Think

for mobile touch devices.
