And that's where open source development comes in... Apps that auto display user defined, previously stored contact information, retrieve or construct new contact information from incoming calls (reverse phone number look-up while in call, social networks, etc ), screen calls based on a selected profile (work, personal, on holiday) and ring, flash, or send to voice mail as assigned, and do whatever cell phone users have complained was lacking in cell phone software over the years... and that's just the start. I imagine software that can recognized phone numbers or web addy's and provide links in received SMS could also be developed.
