You could always upload the audio to podiobooks.com for free in serialized (podcast) form, say, one chapter at a time. This will build you a fan base. Then release the book to Amazon/POD/etc. Thats the way Sigler, Hutchins, etc did it. And Sigler's last book, using this method, made the NY Times Best Seller's list.
