There's a passive aggressive resistance to Linux in the corporate world, and it shows when some group is essentially forced to offer it as an option. Packaging, marketing, support all break down in ways not catastrophic but off-putting enough to lead the average consumer to say, "WTF... Windows sucks but the experience was not quite this bad."

And it's easier to return a netbook than server for sure.
