Technically it's possible but someone needs to put some work into it. This includes creating up to date packages of mono and (more difficult) creating new language bindings to the Hildon framework. The available bindings are made for Maemo4 Hildon and need to be updated to the new Maemo5 API.

Everything needed is available as open-source code so it's just a matter of someone doing it
