Unforuntately, explaining it doesn't make it any more palatable. My n800 was under £300 - it's going to be hard to convince the missus to let me drop £500 (500 E + 15% VAT). It needs to be closer to the £400 mark, like the HTC Hero and Touch Pro 2 I was looking at.
