What I am saying is that the NAND memory use some bytes for error detection/ checksum for EACH block of the memory (4k or less each)
So 784Mb of total memory could be a 768Mb chip (with error detection / checksum)
But I am ignorant at NAND, SDRAM and so on... I'm just guessing.
You confused my statement "is a power of 2" thinking I was speaking about the number 768
