Windows media center is an add on to Professional.. professional has something that will help.. Remote Desktop Access. RDP (remote deskotp protocal) will create a session for you (not control your local desktop like vnc) at the resolution of the connecting device.. the program you want, and I don't know if this is avalible, though its really small if its not.. is rdesktop.
