I have installed my Nokia 770 with latest Nokia OS ( 3.2006.49-2 ) and have seen no problems yet.

I successfully backed-up my files ( bookmarks and such ) to the MMC card and then restored it onto the present ( latest ) OS.

I have installed maemo ' Gaim ' successfully. Initially, I had a little issue with Gaim only ( I used the wrong password ) trying to sign into Yahoo. There was at least one time that I misspelt the repository for ' Gaim '. It is working very well now.

I have installed ' devicescape ' also ( still figuring that out though ). I have also installed ' maemo-bt-plugin ' and ' theme-blue '. So far no issues of anykind were seen during this.
