Seriously, I'm confused-- the sizes I listed are smaller than 5" x 7"... so why would the type need to be huge? If anything big type would make more sense on a bigger format...

You'd think so, but the tendency is to print smaller type -- especially if there's a lot of information -- on smaller cards because, well, they're smaller. I'm not saying this is always the case, but it's natural human tendency, that's all. All I'm saying is that whatever we do, the text -- especially the person's m.o screen name -- needs to be HUGE.
