I agree... But I originaly paid for a "lifetime" license.

Also, service implies support. There has been no real updates or enhancements to the very stale GUI since I purchased it in May of 2007

I'm hoping that an increased customer base with the N900 will lead to:

1. More user defined plug-ins for gnuite's most excellent FOS MaemoMapper.

2. A more responsive software vendor like Garmin or TomTom will provide a more robust, fee based software.
