Although, as a mobile Linux computer, the N900 can be as complete as I want it to be, as I can port or write whatever applications I desire to run on it.

I think some people need to break out of the phone paradigm and see this thing as being something else. Most of us here at tmo don't think of it as a phone, but as a smaller internet tablet with some phone stuff in it. At least I think we do, if not, I'm willing to be corrected.
