What is not the point? My original point was that not having MMS is not the point. Is that point not the point? =)

also, i don't quite understand your being so upset. the phone part on the N900 is far behind. if you don't need these missing features in a phone, be happy. but don't try to deny that they are missing
Not sure why you think I am upset in some way, but I do not see how you can reason about N900 phone part being "far behind" based on a single missing feature (MMS), especially considering that according to reasearch hardly anyone uses it. After all, you have not even used N900, which seems to be necessary for being able to make such statements.
