Hi,

I'm trying to use StarDict with some dictionaries which use IPA glyphs in the articles. Doing that I noticed, that those glyphs are displayed as little boxes with the respective code point number in it.

It's not the application itself since loading a text file containing such codes (encoded as UTF-8) into the editor gives the same result. On the other hand I know that the fonts (e.g. Vera Sans) contains these glyphs and programs on the PC running Ubuntu show them.

So is there a known bug or is there somehow a restriction put on the abilities of Maemo?

Thanks,
Robert
