Why am I ranting? Ohh yeah ,because I want my N900 to be shipped last week.
This should be the same case with any manufacturer. But then why only Nokia is doing this (N900 and also giving importance to open source and the community). Because, apart from doing ONLY business they also CARE. That's why I (rather WE) like them.
