It would be great if we could get a .deb of this and hopefully have the actual game files stored on SD. It sounds like this is a pretty major branching from the original Q2 sourcecode. They specifically mention network optimizations on the main page, so I doubt this is network compatible with retail released Q2. They do provide a server, though, so maybe we could get one going for ITT people to play on?
I am still pretty dubious on how playable this is going to be without a n800 specific port and/or mouse support. Trying to play a FPS with a stylus is not easy. I had enough trouble with doom, much less a true 3d FPS. I know people have hooked up keyboards to their USB ports. Has anyone attempted a mouse?
