We had some progress in backing up installed apps on the N770:

But what about N800? The file structure is quite different and personally I don´t really know where to look for the installation files.

When the time is up for an OS2007 update I would like to be able to fetch my installed apps from my mmc (read SD) installed OS, using the above method or perhaps even Grsync on preferrably a mounted pre-structured hierarcy of directories directly into the new OS. Am I dreaming or what?
