gerbick, if too much hype is created and the device ultimately doesn't live up to the hype that was created then sales will suffer and the product will basically be a bust. Some of the best things are usually not hyped so much and just kinda creep in. The N900 already has some hype due to the YouTube advertisement seen, but it's not over-blowing it's existence like Apple does with their products...and if you've seen most of the comments on that video, you'd know that not even the best hype can save customers all the time.

The video isn't even showing off everything the N900 can do and yet people are already wanting to get rid of their iPhones and take the N900. I'd say that's pretty good in my opinion.

Anyway, to each is own and this is just my perspective on it.
