Just a small update - it's being reported today that Bell and Telus will be switching on their GSM/HSPA networks in November. The network speed is said to be 21Mb/s, which is nice to see. No info about pricing or frequencies (c'mon, 1700), but coverage is said to reach "93 percent of Canadians in almost 20,000 cities and towns". See the Globe and Mail link below for more details. And while the article is about the iPhone coming to Bell/Telus, they specifically mention Nokia N-Series phones as being an option. Interesting times...

And even better news, the Canadian $ just keeps climbing against the USD, Euro, and Pound, so the N900 is already getting cheaper for us.
