Yeahh.. any screen big enough to let you sit back and relax to enjoy the subtleties of a virtual world\presentation is good enough to play these kinda games, I'd say I've read good things about the Z-5500.. just make sure the wiring and mounting systems are suitable for your room\setup.

Unfortunately most PS3 and XB360 games run in 720p. But in general they're already detailed enough for living room viewings. 1080p is noticeable if you sit up close in desktop (pc) games setting, but less so when you're sitting a few feet away even with bigger screens.

Yeah I wonder if it's the trend that people realize that low level tinkering and optimizations should be done by the vendors... or am I just getting old and reprioritizing my time allocation? =P
