I never thought to try this but you're absolutely right.

When the alarm goes off, it pops up a window with snooze/close options. I tapped 'close', then it asked if I wanted to shut off again, or boot. Really slick if you ask me.

Back to the thread question, I had some reboot problems like this intermittently since upgrading to the latest OS2006. It was never consistent, and has not happened in a week or more.

I don't mess around with the alarm at all, although knowing what Karel just tipped me off to, I think I will.
