As far as i know the default MicroB (AKA Maemo Browser) doesn't use the XUL that Firefox does, making it incompatible with Firefox plugins without some work. If that has changed i'd be happy to know.

There was a project that ported some add-ons on OS2008, but i haven't seen any activity for Maemo 5.
