Well, yes, but a device isn't magic. It has its vulnerabilities.

Speaking of which, Nokia sells phones which are meant to be used in harsh environments. Such as in construction working.

I live near a beach and frequently have to put my mobile in the same pocket as some keys (due to lack of pockets in my trousers) whilst in a sandy environment.
Have to? What about the alternatives? Key cord around neck, wallet, key sleeve/protector, key chain, different trousers, ...
