Yes, there was.

I don't actually miss finger scrolling; it was just nice to know it was there for those awkward moments when you can't seem to reach any of the preconfigured buttons.

And to put things in perspective: FBReader is the single most used application on both my 770 and my N800. Of course, the Internet Tablets' amazing screens take a lot of credit for that.
