That sounds a useful way of doing it. I've assigned small scrolling, which seems to be up or down on the 5-way pad, to be 100% of the screen so I scroll a page at a time.

Without supporting it with my right hand, the N800's just a little too heavy to hold and scroll one-handed (no sniggering at the back please) so I wanted to be able to hold it in my left hand and just tap the screen with my right when needed. But I find that screen tapping's not working
