I can't tell you, i've just seen it. I'm a filmmaker and i do projects with small cameras (mobile included). One day i went to a workshop where we could only use our mobile and a guy on my team was using a N95 with light on. I think he was using another software to record.

For the rest, i confirm. I own a N97, N96 and a 5800 Xpress music and they all use the leds as light. The N86,N85 also (used them for a project)


I think it's only a software issue on the N900 because the camera hardware is similar to the N97.
